Each year we ask panel of writers questions about their craft, their stories, their ideas, and how they got started. Our wonderful guest authors have always been generous with their time and talent and we hope to offer our attendee’s the opportunity to practice and showcase some of their own work. That’s right, YOU!
We’ve selected several editors, first readers, and authors to teach and critique participants entries. (Prizes awarded)
– Registrants can 2 pages of a story or manuscript you’ve written for feedback from the panel. (details to come)
– Along with discussion, there will be a chance to practice with some writing prompts in small 5 minute sections.
– If you’d rather not write, there will be books for sale and the auction.
Since some of last year’s folks were interested in going out for a break, we’ll offer a choice of a catered selected lunch (cost on registration) or a list of local eating spots.

Enjoy a day-long conferences designed for readers and writers. Bring your questions. We’ll have a raffle and the authors will have books for sale.
There is no charge for this event, but registration will be necessary (limit 40).
September 23-27 – Left Coast Lesbian Conference 2015, Palm Springs, CA
Barrett will attend the Left Coast Literary Conference at Casitas Laquita Resort sponsored by Sapphire Books. This conference for readers and writers is open to all authors, regardless of publisher or publishing status, and to the wonderful readers of lesbian fiction.
Fees: Early Registration $150/person or $200/couple (romantic involvement not required). Conference registration includes: swag bag, conference t-shirt, panel discussions, workshops, author chats, author readings, key note speaker event, nightly entertainment, Welcome Reception, daily lunch, Thursday Reader Dinner, Friday Author Dinner and Farewell Brunch.
